When you connect your bank accounts through Plaid, we receive:

  • Account names and types
  • Account balances
  • Transaction history (amounts, dates, merchant names, categories)

Important: We never see or store your bank login credentials. Plaid handles all authentication directly with your financial institution.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

  • IP addresses (for security monitoring)
  • Login timestamps
  • Device information (browser type, operating system)
